Weekend Backpack Program Beginning!!!!

It is now official!!
Our Weekend Backpack program for children will be starting in the fall not only at Houghton Lake Collins Elementary but we are now able to provide the Backpacks for children at Roscommon Elementary!!!
This is all because of an alliance we have made with Eastern Michigan Food Bank through their Feeding America program. They recently contacted us and wanted to be a part of our program. Not only does this provide a vendor for all the food, we have the ability now to expand our program county wide.
Thanks for all who have supported this program and continue to support it.
We will be contacting volunteers soon to help with packing and distributing the backpacks.

This is amazing and much needed for this community! Cudos to all who invested so much time and effort in obtaining this goal! We are praying that this is well accepted and embraced by the entire Roscommon county community and will flourish for years to come!
