We received a letter this week with the following opening statement:
"Congratulations! We are very pleased to announce that E G Ministries has been awarded a grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund ? U.S. in the amount of $2,000. This grant is for support of your program to provide low-income elementary students with backpacks filled with food for the weekend."
We are very excited about this award! Thanks for your support as we continue our efforts to raise the necessary funds to get this program up and running!!

Thank you for the work you are doing and will do to help us. We are so looking forward to helping these children in such desperate need. It almost is hard to believe that there are children going hungry in the USA but it is real, I see it and if we can help to avoid this we will do everything we can. Thanks again!

I look forward to working with this organization (along with Aaron, Jenna, and Lauren) to promote healthy eating and being able to help provide food for hungry children.

I am excited to see this ministry begin and would like to know more about it. Would you be interested in coming to one of our pastoral meetings and explain your ministry. What I have read so far, goes along with our vision for the surrounding area. I will be looking forward to your response.
